It's a secret operation. I am gonna check the motor for damage of course but. I think detonation of an engine poses more of a threat than turning a car over. Maybe it got messy with oil or something? Nothing a good cleaning cant fix. Im building it too maybe even lower end. Im Really skeptical. What if the rod angle was distorted when it flipped and impact caused the pistons to drive into the walls that would suck.

I doubt that a roll over would do any internal damage to a PGM-FI engine. Unless the engine remained running upside down with no oil feeding the lower end for an extended period of time. I bought a 350 out of a rolled and totaled van. No problems with the engine at all.

Is the engine still in the car that you are going to look at?

If it is you should be able to see if there was any engine contact with an external fixed object. If the front end or hood has been crushed in to the block. Then you want to be looking for any signs of cracks around the engine mounts and trans bell housing.

Thanks Ghost for the info. Really helps. Yeah I will def be checking the block and Engine mounts is a good idea. If the oil pan is in good shape I'll be alot more confident! Hey thanks man. Let me know if any more Ideas.
