Thanks for for the votes everyone. I went and got a set of Falken Ziex ZE912's. 230 installed over at Zoom tires and service in El Monte. Almost had my hands on a decent set of Buddy Clubs for $200...but were already sold.

I run the Falken 912 (205/45/17) on my daily civic. It's a great tire that's tough enough to zip around town and commute on. I also find it comfortable but that is subjective because I'm running koni yellows and Eibach Sportlines which is luxury compared to my Integra with mix matched struts + race springs.
No point getting the 512 because their d/c. The replace of the 512 is the 912.

The Ziex ZE912 and the Direzza DZ101 are both good tires. The Dunlop is a high performance summer tire though; not really in the same category with the ZE912 which is an all-season. If you're looking for summer tires, you may also want to look into the Kumho Ecsta SPT.

I just bought a set of Falken 912's. I did have kumho ecasta's before and was surprised by how much better these falkens ride compared to the kumho since their both in the same price range. These Falkens ride amazing, their so smooth and quiet, not to mention they hook really well. I got the Falkens at a steal also from https://honda-tech.com/forums/wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-48/%7C%7C%7C-falken-tire-specials-ziex-ze502s-ziex-ze912s-fk452s-rt615s-%7C%7C%7C-2569204/ Hope this helps. I plan to buy falkens for my accord beater once it comes time.

I own falkens 912s now for my DD, they are good tires, a bit noisy compared to my other tires Toyo Proxes 4, but overall they hold up great in rain snow is eh, but you would expect that! I say go for the 912s, the 512s are the same tire though just the older verson now, sense 912s came out.

Hmmm. Thanks.
i have the 912 on my teg, they ride good! however tread wear isnt all that great and they dont grip extremely well.
also if you care about looks, these tires looks too round and bulky, but i run 195/55/15

101's out of what you listed followed by neo gens. neo gens really aren't that slow of a tire. for an all season they are pretty decent. i have no clue why there are so many votes on the slower falkens
i have driven both the 512's and the 912's. i perfered the the grip from the 512's. the 912's seem to have a harder rubber compound(hence the longer mile warrenty) which make it okay.
the break away characteristic of the 512 felt better then the 912. not knocking on the 912's, and all tires have there ups and downs.
the 912's felt really good in the rain, and so so in the snow. while the 512 felt really good in the snow and so so in the rain. i guess you can say it's all about the tread compound and tread design.
can't really say to much about the other two. haven't driven on them on the street yet.
so there's my $.02

Ive heard that the 512's have a tendancy to not last very long and my tire guy recommended the 912's over the 512's. I wanted to go with the General Exclaim UHP's because of there cheap prices and great ratings, but my guy gave me a brand new set of some ugly BFG scorchers for $50 a pop mounted so I could pass on that.

does anyone know of a dealer that sells the Dunlops for a decent price?
I've had the Hankook K106's - *** CRAP..noisy and did not handle anything. So my opinion on Hankook is not looking so high.

best bang for your buck with mileage, rain and dry combined. mmm..probably the yoke s-drive
best dry weather ? toss up between the star spec, bridgestone 11s and kumho xs, oh yes and the new yoke ad08. the 615 is a great dry weather tire, they just seem to wear out really quick and don't have the warm performance of the other 4 i mentioned. no all season tire is really anything to brag about in the dry. the neo gen is better than both the 512 and 912, being softer is most of the reason why. cost wise ? if you run 205 40 17 tire-easy had the dunlop sport maxx on sale for 65 a pop which isn't bad considering they retail at $240. in 205 50 15 you have the xs, 195 55 15 the star spec
there is a lot of trash information in this thread

And to the OP you're comparing all season tires to summer tires. If you don't do any sort of spirited driving than you might as well get all season tires that would last much longer than summer tires and wouldn't be as harsh on your wallet.
I got rid of a set of cooper zeon's for a set of nitto neogens and i highly regret it. I had the coopers on my car for 2 years and hardly wore at all. The car was even lowered and the tires had very very little camber wear. My nitto's are already half bald on the inside and i've only had them a little while. I recommend the Cooper Zeon's Highly! Goodluck
If it snows where you live and you're not getting a separate set of wheels and will be driving this car year round, I would go with all-seasons, kumho asx or the ze512.
I really like kumhos. They are cheap and last a while and give decent performance.
I haven't read good things about dunlops on the tirerack reviews section.

The Yokohama S Drive is a great tire but I don't know about it being the best bang for your buck. Everywhere I've looked the cheapest I've found was $76 a tire in 195/55/15. I have Dunlop Direzza DZ101's and for the price, I think they do great. Not nearly as good as the S Drive but at ~$55 a tire you really can't complain.
