Default jumping radiator fans

hello fellas,

recently my lude has been overheating. it seems like the fans dont turn on when the car is on and on a stop for longer than 2min. but they do when the car is off. i was thinking that its either the sensor on the T-stat or the fan is messed up.

so i was wondering how would you jump the fan? i never got around to learn this technique.

Thanks in advance

You could wire up an electric fan relay (available at most major auto-parts stores) and then wire a switch in the cabin.
