Fuel Rail Mounting bolts!!! HELP!
So i was putting my injectors in today and I went to retighten the fuel rail mounting nuts. Well I'm a ****ing idiot and wasn't paying attention and overtightened the one in the middle so naturally the bolt snapped. The two on the outside are fine though. Is it okay to drive without the reinforcement of the middle nut? That's my main question. I noticed at the bottom of the fuel rail mounting bolt there are hex heads. are these removable, and if so do they sell the the rail bolt separately??? Please reply. I need to go to work at 3 today lol.
yes, the stud is replaceable and able to be purchased at your local Honda dealer. If the shaft or upper threaded part of the stud is what broke and you still have the hex part attached to the threads that go into the intake manifold then just remove it like you would any normal bolt and replace it.
If the local dealer doesn't have one in stock, you may be ok to drive without the middle stud for a short period. If you put it back together without the middle stud just make sure there are no gas leaks, if there is then you wont be able to run the car until you get the middle stud replaced.

Thank GOD! you guys are the best. I thought I was going to have to drill and tap. If there are no leaks, do you think I could drive for approximately 20 miles on it the way it is? I know they only tighten to like 10-12 ft/lbs so this seems like a pretty weak point to only rely on 2 of the 3 nuts.
well i'm going to take a risk cuz I have no other way to get to work. so wish me luck and if you hear about a turbo accord up in flames in the news, then you know who it was lol.

didn't die today for the record, but who knows what tomorrow will bring. hopefully, i can make it to the dealership and back quickly.
You will be fine. I ran the stock F22 fuel rail on the F23A1 IM which only have two mounting stand for the F22 Fuel Rail to mount on. I ran the motor for more than three months and no problem whatsoever.
