i'm designing an intake manifold and am interested in having a cfd simulation done on the design before i start fabricating. this is something i don't know much about, but feel it may provide some valuable input. does anyone have capability to do this if i provide a cad file? or does anyone know someone that could do it?

Try local universities. You could also look for open cfd software.

 

What software did you do the design in?

 

solidworks.

 

Register on f1-technical.net and ask around the forums there is a quite a few people over there that I know could do it. There is some really highly skilled people on there and would probably be a good place to ask. Just and idea.

 

I could probably do it. Are you looking for any information specifically or just wanting a baseline each runner flows the same analysis?

 

either Magnus or SEM. I know both of them have their own style of manifold and are local
