i see that there are nice looking rebuilt heads on ebay.

anyone ever run one? they sure are priced right!

ummm if i was buying a rebuilt head id buy it in person to know exactly what it is and looks like "craigslist" , or pittspeed.com sells stuff like that from good ppl. who wont try and rip you off. other than that idk what to say cause we def need a link to see it., i dont trust ppl on ebay.

he seems legit...if you check his sales history, he has sold over 100 rebuilt heads in the past 6 months...only 1 person had a problem, and it could have happened during shipping. Almost everyone else says great seller, quick shipper, and head worked great, or looks great upon arrival. I would do it if i had a cheap d-series to rebuild. Actually, for $230 shipped to my door ready to bolt on WITH cam and rockers included, im thinking about buying another Civic with a shot motor and buying one of these heads....

 

That's pretty nice. I should fix the knocking Y8 shortblock in my garage and slap a Y7 head on, eh?

awesome guys. i think ill try and find one after next check, ive spent 600 this week on an engine kit, and some other goodies from summit... ill have the bottom end together next week, then get the head from him.
