Default skunk 2 springs, quick ?

my girl wants to lower her car a little to give it a more agressive look. I was thinking about putting skunk 2 lowering springs on it. I got them on my 97 ex with kyb struts and it rides great. my question is can I put the springs on her car(05 civic LX) without performance struts? or will it eventually blow out the struts?

thanks. I think skunk 2 is about a 2.5 inch drop. so I wouldnt have to have new struts?

almost everything I found has a 2.5 inch drop minimum except eibac( spelling may be wrong) but dont know anyone who has ever had them.

skunk 2 is the only brand I have ever bought. before that I got ebay springs that blew every thing. still need new bushings and axles but no more ebay for suspension parts.

Ya I had Skunk2 adjustable coilover sleeves on my 03 Si and I have just the drop springs in my Del Sol right now. They are definently a quick and cheap way to make your car look legit, perfect drop IMO....but it's definently Bumpy! Shocks should be OK for a little while...but if she's daily driving I'd say definently get shocks down the line....
