radiator question
im looking to buy a aluminum radiator. i have ac on my car and was thinking about the koyo aluminum racing radiator. i hve a b20 in my hatch an was wondering if this will fit in the spot of the old one
Also, make sure that the hose diameters are correct for your car. Some radiator manufacturers say that their radiators are a "direct fit replacement" but they actually aren't.
For example the Mishimoto aluminum race radiator for the D-series motor doesn't actually use the proper hose diameter for a D-series. In fact the D uses a 28mm hose diameter and the radiator from Mishimoto has 32mm hoses. I know from personal experience, I bought one and had to send it back.
So, my recommendation is to make certain that they state the hose diameters size and that you check that against your thermostat housing size and the upper radiator hose size.
