can u wax a sealant
well my paint is in good shape but not the best. first i washed, dry, clay bar, then used ultimate compound, swirl x, deep crystal polish step 2, show car glaze 7, 2 coats of nxt 2.0 wax and finally 2 coats of klasse. my question is do i need to every once in a while wash the car and wax it even though i have the sealant on there? what about the life of my carbon hood? do i have to do all these steps again to fix a paint chip or if i want to add another coat of sealant?
thanks
thanks
sealant = wet look wax= depth and warmth i personally seal with opti-seal then wax with nattys red or blue and every-other wash touch up wax with osw (optimum spray wax)
awesome thanks. can i wax my wheels and seal them too? what about my carbon hood just keep it waxed? i hope that sealant keeps it from fading. i wish i had a high speed buffer so i could have gotten all of the swirls out. if i touch up a paint chip do i have to use polish wax and sealant all again? thanks

you could but i don't, usually I just hand polish/gel ps1 clean my wheels if they need it and some poor boys wheel sealant works great for a long time
As exceldetail said never put a sealant on top of a wax it just wont bond like it is supposed to.
sealant first and if then wax on top but its personal preference some do both and some do either or
You can add some quick detailer to your wheels when you wipe them down after washes also. this will add a temporary layer of protection between washes, allowing for easier brake dust removal.....
