Default should i use this spraygun!?1st timer!

am planning on painting my car...
is this a good gun for the price to start off with?

and what else do i need to get a good sand, a good prime,and a good finishing product?just asking...

Looks like a decent gun.

You would get more answer in the paint and body forum though GL.

im on a really shxt low budget...about 120bucks evryother week spending money.

No, it has a 2.0 mm tip. You can use it for thick primers. Have you used any type of paint gun before? This is a conventional gun so pressure and distance is applied differently compared to hvlp guns. Just be aware, if you have only used an hvlp gun before it will be different using a conventional gun. If money's an issue just go to harborfreight.com and buy one of their cheap hvlp guns. It's like 30 bucks. They should come in the tip sizes you need. Check the tech sheets on the paint you're going to use and it will tell you what tip size is required. I would save for a good gun though.
