Default Post your suspension set up that you're currently running.

Curious to see whats out there. Not what you had before or what your buddys car has or what you read on a forum that is good. What are you running and how is it working for you.

*edit* Also Y/M/M would be nice.

My EK setup -
Currently on 10yr old Apex N1's, fronts are blown and complete crap now. They rode great for the first 6 years of life. Around that time I wanted stiffer spring rate so I installed Skunk2 8k/6k that blew them in no time.
*edit* I forgot to add my oem ITR sway bar. I will be needing ASR kit real soon.
Carbing 3pt front strut bar
EM racing Lower "Z" with quick release C pillar(after tightening not so quick release though)
And old school Nuespeed rear lower tie bar.

New set up will be here 6/19/09 Brand new Koni's and Skunk2 slip on's.

Currently running 7 yr. old Koni Sport shocks with 170K miles on them and they're still working great.

Stock GS-R front springs, stock ITR rear springs, all Koni perches on the lowest setting (been on these 4 years now).

Stock ITR 22mm rear sway bar w/ Beaks kit (had this nearly 6 years).

Everything works great. Car sits pretty level, at least 1.5" lower than stock. Rides decent and handles pretty well, too.

That looks great for stock height! hehe Even though we all know that you can adjust the koni's.

Yeah the front perch lowers 1", which translates to about 1.5" at the wheel. But I dunno, I think my stock springs may be sagging a bit.

'92 si w/JDMB16a

I have Old School neuspeed race springs (over 12yrs on the car)

KYB shocks

Camber kits

And I just bought a GSR sway (no subframe brace needed and car wont hop around corners as much) I also bought a Integra OEM front upper tower bar

I'll post some pics as soon as its done (strut bar will be here Friday)

If the thread is still alive

STOCKSOHCDX: Be careful with the Type R rear sway and no brace (but I figure you already know that) You car could become salvaged real quick with one hard turn

My setup on my EK:

Tokico Illuminas
Skunk2 slip ons (spring rates = 10kf, 6kr)
26mm CTR front sway bar (CTR front LCAs and shock forks)
Hardrace front swaybar endlinks
22mm CTR rear swaybar
ASR subframe reinforcement
Blox rear swaybar endlinks
Ingalls rear camber kit (it was free!)
PW JDM 3 point front shock tower bar
PW JDM 2 point rear bar

Ride is decent. Cornering is great. Ride height is low and trying to go lower.

Just put on the ever popular Koni/GC setup on a 94 Accord LX about 1/12 months ago.The springs are pretty soft, don't know exactly what the rate is though because they came off a previous setup that the previous owner of this car had on.

Had Ksports before the Koni/GC,and my car has never felt better ever since the swap.

Omni power coilovers.
Blox LCAs
Nuespeed front tower bar

I just started on my suspension. I bought the omnis a long time ago, but just recently got it completely on. Stiffened the ride up a lot, which I don't really mind. A lot of people don't like them, but I know a few people who have them and have had great luck, and when they go bad, I'll probably buy some PICs. Same thing with the blox. I'll rock them untill the bushings wear out and then swap in some ES bushings. Next on the list will be some Full Race traction bars, camber kit, a 22 or 23mm sway bar with an ASR subframe brace. Work in progress.

93 si
Front Skunk2 sleeves over KYB shocks
Rear Skunkwork sleeves over KYB Shocks
Skunk2 front camber kit
Type R front tower bar
Neuspeed rear strut bar
Beaks tie bar (bling)

I bought the car with this coil set up. I maxed them out both front and back and am not happy with the drop. (mostly the rear) They ride o.k. but do get pretty bouncy on the freeway sometimes and my camber kit hits my shock towers. I was considering removing perch nuts but will probably jump on the GC/Koni w/ extended top hats bandwagon since dumped is what I'm going for.

2000 EK Si

Koni SSP3 revalved/shortened Fronts- GC top hats
Koni Yellows rear
GC coilovers- 800 f 600 r
Comptech F/R swaybars w rear subframe brace integration
Hard Race Full 26 piece bushing kit and front endlinks- rear endlinks are ASR sphericals
F/R Strut tower braces
Fresh Lower and upper ball Joints

Car handles on rails and I have adjusted the rear swaybar for very predictable snap over.

For a DD it is rough, but overall couldn't be happier with the outcome.

P.S. I am in northern texas and the roads are garbage, back home they were much more acceptable.

Ok update! I just installed my new set up

98 EK CX

Koni Sports *Brand new* on the lowest circlip
8 Yr old SKunk2 slip on's
G/C top hats front only.
I set the stupid perch a little higher than half way on first try, drove off the bricks and started dragging my stupid front lip and Header flange.
Reset the front to about 1" from the top of the perch and now it sits about an inch gap.

Don't know about the ride as of yet just drove it home, Huge difference from my blown N1's though.

How are the skunk2's mounted on the Konis? Are you using the OE-style spring perches? Sounds like you might need to move the circlip higher.

*edit* n/m just saw your other thread. At least Skunk2 makes Koni adapters.

Yeah I thinking about moving the cirlip higher now. I didn't think those stupid springs were that short. Oh and on the Skunk2's that was the whole reason for the write up 10yrs ago they didn't have those.
