I've been putting back together my car and I went from my 98 front end to a kouki, 99 00 front. I tried to sort of fit the seal off of my 98 hood onto my 00, but just holding it up it didn't look like it was wide enough in the grill area to fit. When I look online though to buy one for a 99 00, they all say "Hood seal 96-00"...but have two different part numbers. WTF?

 

they have different numbers cause they are different parts.
96-98 will NOT fit 99-00 go to honda.... i think they are like 40 at the one i go to.

 

Thanks man, just wanted to be sure. I actually asked this question after I bought the part number associated with the kouki, but just wanted to be extra sure afterwards. It would have sucked if I found out afterward that the zenki would have fit fine lol
