Default jdm hydro b16 tranny w/lsd

bought it with a cracked outer housing, replaced it with my usdm ls tranny housing perfect fit. axel locks in place but i can pull it in and out about a 1/2 inch naturally while driving it stays out more so then in and leaks transmission oil like nobody's business // so bad enough my b20v set up smokes a bit now tranny oil on header smokes .. any suggestions..

p.s : i notice the play in the axel isn't the snap ring ..it feels like the whole assembly inside is moving back and fourth

on the outer casing, theres supposed to be a shim where the diff goes into. if theres no shim, then the diff will move side to side and cause the axle to push out and in like that.
