I had Acura replace some wheel studs for me and the ones they put on are about 1/4" (slightly more) shorter then the stock R wheel studs. When I asked them why this was, they said that they ran it across their parts database and these are the studs that came up for the R. I cant imagine why the ones they gave me are shorter when the stock ones on the R are a factory Honda part, and are longer.

Can anyone tell me how long the stock studs should be.

No one knows? Here is a picture just to show you what I'm talking about. Here is a picture to show you what studs i'm talking about. The dealers were roughly 1/4" shorter than the stock ones which doesnt make any sense becuse the studs should be a factory honda part, and therefore, the same length.

Your dealership doesn't know what they're doing apparently.

 

take it back to the dealer, that definitely IS NOT RIGHT. Did they install the stud?? if so make sure they dont charge your another penny in labor or parts because thats bullshit.
