just buy a ebay replica. i never had a problem with ebays lip. look & fit good..

 

yea i have both a 99 si front lip and rear lip from ebay and both have great fitment and look good. They're also high quality polyurethane. I've hitten my lip several times and its still sturdy! Ebay also has good prices got my front lip for $75.00 and my rear for $50.00....

 

OEM has brackets inside them. If yours do then sell them to me.

 

you can get 99/00 oem rear lips from lings honda in england. Thats where I got mine. they aren't available in the U.S. cost me a pretty penny though.

 

the 96-00 civic rear bumper is the same for all years, so yes a 99-00 rear lip will fit a 96-98 however front bumpers are a different story. However, you need to make sure that if you have a hatch you buy a hatch lip as hatch and coupe/sedan bumpers are different.

 

I don't know of any websites who still have authentic oem si rear lips for sale. They are very rare as they were only offered as an option on the 99-00 Si. Honda also hasn't made any for a few years now. I bought mine from jdmland.com about 2 years ago. BNIB and standard ground shipping to my house was almost $400. If you didn't pay very much for it I would think it was a fake unless you got extremely lucky. Also what color is it? They came pre-colored from the factory only in blue, black, and red (Si factory colors).

 

96-00 Hatch rear bumpers are all the same.

96-98 Coupe and Sedan rear bumpers are different from 99-00 Coupe and Sedan rear bumpers.

 

yup! very rare to find an OEM lip.. but yeah! just get replicas if you really want it and u dont care.. no one will look underneath your bumper and tell you that it is a replica.. right?

 

there is still some around... like i said.. lings honda has a few left. i got mine from there a few months ago.. i posted pics in another thread about this... once i find it i will post the thread here for you guys.. i had to have it imported from england to cali. it cost me about $260 unpaint.. then i took it to Honda so I could have it perfectly matched. It cost me 135 for paint. So about $400.. blkcivic99 is right on target with the price.

 

Here are the pics. I had a replica rear lip and an OEM one. I took pictures of both so you can see the difference (if there really is one) The OEM lip is the grey one. Both are unpainted.
