I am needing to replace my main relay that is under the steering column, it's been going bad, and now I believe it has gone out completely. Are Honda Main Relays interchageable? I ask this because there is a Honda dealership near by, but if I have to get one for the Integra, ACURA is about an hour away.

So can I use any main relay from a Honda?

not always. for example, i wanted to get those little silicone grommets to replace the ones under the plastic wiper motor cover. i called honda, and they said that the part number is an acura specific one. why not call your local honda dealership, and ask them if they have what you need?

I took my main relay to Advance Auto and had a buddy of mine take a look at a bunch of relays, and he said mine was very similar to a 96 accord, but who knows. I'\ll have Honda check it out

 

just call the acura dealership and get a part number and then go to honda or other part stores. you need that part number.

i THINK they should be the same. somethimes honda has 2 different part numbers for the same part.
