Default B20 swap help!!

hey, need some qiuck help if anyone knows the answer. shouldnt be to hard. i have a B20 motor, integra ls transmission. swap is in a 92 civic hatch. just need to know what starter i need and what throttle cable i need.

was told i need the integra starter but it looks nothing like the one that i pulled from the car. and the throttle cable is haggerd and just needs to be replaced so im assuming its the original cable from the car. let me know if im wrong.

also i need to get the 98 ls manifold which im going to the local junk yard tomorrow to pull that. anything else i might need to look for let me know.

You need the Integra throttle cable and bracket (the one on the intake manifold) and an Integra starter. The starter that was in your car stock and the Integra starter are different yes, but the D series one will not work with a B transmission. You need a B starter, one from any Integra.

Good luck at the wreckers. Remember to save all the bolts you remove!!

You CAN use the civic throttle cable if you ghetto fab your current throttle cable bracket just for reference. But yes, the starter and throttle cable both NEED to be out of a 94-01 MANUAL integra

thanks, i bought the car with the swap already in it but it is a hack job. im going back and redoing everything right. it barely made it home . i got it started last night finally. i can only find a 94 and 95 integra so im gonna grab the throttle cable this morning.

about the intake manifold what years will work?

Originally what happend was the ground from the valve cover hit the header and burned in half, car stalled, starter burned out, then when i hit the gas to try and start it the gas pedal went to the floor and just flops up and down and the throttle cable wouldnt slide back through the firewall part. throttle stuck open and it would just rev. great now the throttlecable is messed up. at least its little stuff so im not complaining.

towed it home, took the throttlecable off, fixed the starter. got it started. now just need to get the throttle cable and right intake manifold.

obviously the previous owner care about what he was doing. I been redoing so much wiring on this thing it rediculous. nothing is the right part for this motor/trans. Ive got alot done and am close to having a reliable car again.

thanks for the help.
