I'm 1 year into my first car, which is a prelude. (Lovin it)

My brakes are squeeking at very low speeds(ie when coming to a stop), is that a sign I need to change the pads?

Any suggestions on pads or work needed?

fyi, I did search for brakes, brakes squeek etc and didn't turn up anything. The most useful thread I found was something like best brake pads

XD someone wanna tell me if squeeking means I should replace the pads?

 

yes you will more then likly have to change your pads and if you wait to long you will need roaters as well

 

If you dont know what to look for, just take it to a Midas or one of those other brake places where they'll do a free inspection for you. Then, if you need new pads, just buy the ones you want and have them install it. Better yet, get a Helm's manual and install it yourself
