D16Y8 transmission from '99 Civic EX
I am in a bind for money, so I'm forced to sell a few things I own.
Up for sale is my 1999 Honda Civic EX transmission from a D16Y8 engine. This transmission was THE SMOOTHEST transmission I have ever driven. Every gear was effortless, with no grinding or noise what so ever. The gearing is short and setup for fast acceleration, which was one of the perks of the EX model over the base model civic. There are a lot of turbo guys that swap this transmission in because it is stronger than the older (1992-1995) transmissions and geared nicely to keep rpms up.
For those of you who are not familiar with the differences; 1992-2000 Honda civics all use the same hydraulic transmission, aside from the Si which was a different type of motor and transmission.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me. make offers pls. no low balling
