Default Help with my 96 hatch!

Ok, I just bought it about a week ago from a guy down in San Diego. I still have alot of work to do to it, so don't laugh. It had a strut bar installed in the rear and the front. I recently added an AEM V2 intake. And I ran into a problem... The intake wouldnt fit because the strut bar was in the way!

So i (sadly) had to remove the front strut bar to install the intake. I notice a huge difference without it, and I want it back but I can't seem to make it fit because the freaking intake is in the way! How do I make it fit? Or do they make strut bars that curve more?

Without the strut bar

With it, notice it won't fit?

the only way i'll fit is if you get a d16y8/y5 intake manifold & swap them around or don't use the strut bar. no need.

If you do end up changing your manifold you may have to change or modify your AEM intake because the bend is different from a D16y8/y5 intake. Your best bet is to look around for another type of Strut Bar if you really insist on using it with your current set up.
