should i just have them paint my whole car? would it be cheaper?

well pretty much you're not gonna get a quality job that will last with only a 900 spending limit. In most cases that might not even be enough to cover the supplies if you wanted to use good stuff (Spies hecker, PPG, sikkens). If you work at a body shop, why don't you see if you can give them 900 bucks up front and take a 100 bucks out of your check for each week till its paid off.

you work at a bodyshop and your on here asking where to go, ha....you should talk to one of the painters, see if theyll spray it as sidework if you do everything else. do you know how to do bodywork and get a car ready for paint ? or do you work in the wash area or something getting cars cleaned up after there all done ?. if your budget is a max of 900, and its gonna cost you 2k to get what you say is the best paint job around, than just wait and save up. itll be well worth it to just wait till you have the money to get a great paint job instead of a mediocre one.

exactly what im thinking....if you can do body work get the entire car all ready that takes a chunk out of the price there. Most painters that i know will do side jobs in a heart beat for extra cash in tehre pocket. just talk to them on the DL b/c some shops frown on side jobs.

Does he do good work? I am also in NC and am looking for someone to paint my car. Someone who is meticulous and pays attention to detail. Thanks.
