Default Lowering

My buddy has a 09' Civic Si coupe and was wondering if when lowering springs were put in that if he would need a alignment or camber kit installed? Thanks

You don't have to get a camber kit, but it all depends on how low he's going. What springs is he getting and/or what is the drop rate? Anything at 1 inch or lower (from 1inch to 0) most likely won't need a camber kit. Anything from 1 inch and a higher drop (from 1 inch to 2, or 3) you will most likely need one.

Hope you followed what I said

you'll most likely need to get an alignment, however the camber kit would depending on the type of suspension and how low you are intending to go
