Default ugh this would happen to me lol

well last night i hear one of my belt squealing while i was acclerating. i didnt think much of it figured yea okay belt needs to be tightend.....well today i was living work and i noticed that it was hard as anything to tuen my steering wheel. so i pull back into my work parking lot and look under my do see whats going on. and to my surpize i found fluid gushing from some where. so i pop the hood to have a look around and make sure its not my engine oil. and when opend the hood i noticed my whole left side of my egine compartment was covered in power steering fluid........ and open some inspection i found its leaking for the exsit line of the power steering pump.....now do i have to get a entire new pump or can i find that pre bent metal tubing some where?

It sounds like you just need a new line. I'm curious though. What year accord is this? My 1996 doesn't use metal lines for the PS and I don't think my mom's 1998 does either.

ok when you standing on the driver side of your car and looking at the pump on there very top there is a metal tube that comes out and connects to the rubber hosing that runs to the rest of the system. where that metal tubing connects into the pump is where mine is leaking

There is an o-ring located where you are describing. I would suspect that is where your leak is coming from.

Looks like you need a new high pressure line.

Littlepilot89, don't blame Honda for someones lack of routine maintenance or ANY maintenance (based on what I'm hearing). I have had many Hondas over the years and as long as you maintain them will give you YEARS of trouble-free driving. 1991 Honda Civic-257,000 snapped timing belt put another one on, drove it for another 30,000 miles before it would not pass inspection for the rot of the frame. I currently have a 1996 Honda Accord that will in about 50 miles will break the 200,000 mark. Do routine maintainance and they will last forever.

if you decide to go with a soft line, throw on a 3/8" magnefine in-line filter ..

I put one on the trans and power steering return lines on my accord and it definitely keeps the fluid cleaner than without it.. id say the fluid lasts twice as long before getting contaminated...
Not bad for $10 each...
