EVAP purge control solenoid valve problem on 92 integra
Hello everyone I am hoping for some help here on the evap purge valve I have a 92 acura integra B18A1 engine I am doing a ls/vtec swap everything is set in the engine compartment but the evap valve is giving me a fit because I have a 94 GSR head on my ls block with a skunk 2 Intake manifold that is for a 94-01 GSR head so i googled for the past 2 hours trying to figure out how to set the evap valve up and people are saying just get a "T" fitting and run it off the I.M. which i understand that part but how do i get the purge valve to get a full vacuum because (If this IS the evap purge valve i'm looking at) on the back side where it goes into the stock intake manifold there are 2 ports (or Holes) for vacuum.after hooking the hoses up to it,how does it keep a vacuum with those 2 ports (or holes) open? also what can i do about the power steering pump top bracket,it doesn't fit on a gsr head so what options can i go with? thanks for all your help in advance
If it's the original 92 evap solenoid you are talking about using, it only uses 1 of the original vacuum ports on the manifold. The other one is for the solenoid that mounts next to it on the firewall, can't remember off the top of my head what it's for (not needed for the gsr head)
You'll be fine using a T-fitting into vacuum for the bottom port of the solenoid, and obviously the top port goes to the charcoal canister

ok today i found out it was not the evap purge control it was something for the coolant which i can bypass just like a radiator hose and as far as the P/S pump bracket goes i just bought one for a 94 gsr head and it works great thanks for the reply Sean
