Sway bar compabilities with 96-00 Civic ASR subframe brace
I currently have the ASR subframe brace with a 23mm ITR rear sway on my 99 Civic ex coupe. I'm looking to downgrade to a smaller sway bar and was looking at the suspension techq. 19mm rear sway. Does anybody know if it will bolt up to the ASR subframe brace?
Reason for downgrading is i'm getting a little bit of oversteer. Or at least i think so, the rear swings around great but my front end doesn't react as quick. I'm not looking to upgrade to a bigger front sway so plz dont ask. I'm on Buddy Club coilovers with 10k/8k spring rates and the stock 22mm front sway bar. I've tried adjusting the shocks to certain settings but i feel the ITR rear sway bar is doing too much of the work. Before when i had the stock (GSR) 14mm rear sway bar, the car handled very well. I just needed a little less understeer. I'm sure a 19mm rear sway will compensate better with my spring rates and stock 22mm front sway. LMK what you guys think...thx

Thats exactly what I am going for, a ST 19mm rear sway bar in the back with my stock front sway bar and an ASR rear subframe brace. Right now I have an 11mm stock rear sway and I believe a 20 or 22mm front sway on my 93 civic eg9, and I am experiencing too much understeer....If the 23mm ITR sway bar is giving you too much oversteer, I would definitely downgrade thickness just a tad on the rear sway bar. This should give you the handling you are after. Good luck let us know how it goes!
I wouldnt be worrying about the compatibility with the ASR because the only thing that limits what size sway bar you can use is the d brackets and sway bar bushing.
I would be more concerned about attaching the ST swaybar and the endlinks as some ST bars bolt up differently and dont use regular endlinks
