i have a weird squeak under my hood it reminds me of a bad ac unit but i dont have an ac unit in my car i removed it. the noise sounds like its comin from near my fuse box near my batt. icant figure out what it is. it seems to stop when i am on the throttle driving. but when i put the clutch in or let off the throttle the noise comes back. but it is not always makin that noise jus on and off. i was jus wonderin if anyone had this problem or maybe any suggestions.

 

ball joints....jack up the car and inspect things

 

it happens when im movin and when i am stopped so not ball joint but its almost like a whistle

 

If you have removed the air resonator box there will be a whistling noise coming from the intake while the car is running especially at certain rpm.

 

Possible bad throw out bearing. May be time for a clutch job.

 

well i have had a sri for a while now and never had a problem but the noise is coming from the sri i put my ear to the filter and thats where its from. my batt just ate s**t like an hour ago, it wont hold a charge so tom. i have to go pic one up. that wouldnt have anything to do with it right?
