Check out my 3 point strut bar
Nice looking rig he built you.
Have you tested it out and noticed a handling difference yet?
Do you know or can you find out what the tubing wall thickness he used is? Did he reinforce the sheet metal behind the rear mount or leave it stock, drill holes and bolt it on?

He used thicked wall DOM tubing, he doesn't have the exact specs right now. There is a bracket behind the firewall as well. We had to drill 2 holes in the firewall to bolt the bar to the reinforcement bracket.
Cool, so no major vehicle mods required to fit them. Just drill 2 holes.
Nice idea with the MC brace JDM CD7. It doesn't look like it would be that hard to integrate an adjustable one onto something as sturdy looking as this.

It looks awesome, I guess my question is did you design and take measurements while the car was on the ground or in the air? As in - is it actively having pressure on it now or is it just bolted on top?
i really like the idea going on. I think it would be easier to install and possibly a better setup had he used the factory mounting holes that the stock stablizers use..
Prolly doesnt make a difference, but no drilling required :D

factory mounting holes that the stock stablizers use hmmmm....
What stock stabilizer are you referring too? The CD chasis doesn't have any type of factory strut bar from Honda.
well i say SiR, if you dont mind, how would one acquire such a unique piece
i feel that a 3 point bar is well suited for tracking and daily spirited driving unlike those generic bars that we are all use to seeing

I've never seen a confirmed fitment of the V6 strut bar on a 4cyl. Plus where middle part of where that bar is mounted, there is no such bracket on the 4cyl accord. At least not on my accord or all of my boys that have accords.
