Default Lower Temp Thermostat

Do you guys see any advantage to running a 170* thermostat in a d16z6 as opposed to the stock one? As in, more power, better running engine, anything good?

if u use a low temp thermostat , it opens earlier therefore it will never get to hot before allowing coolant to go thru , same applies with fan switch ,if ur changing thermo change the switch also...
