i think its pretty sweet. i dont think they're selling very well, around here at least.

i asked the salesman and he said 'oh yeah we sold 2 last week', and i am pretty sure i was looking at the same bike thats been sitting there for over a month

i think they're a little too pricey compared to a FZ1 or a ZRX1200R (other naked bikes).

the bike is REALLY appealing on paper, but in person it doesnt do much for me...but things change....

hmmm i am actually considering this bike since its a way to get a sportier ride + more power than my kawi zr-7s - without too big an insurance hit.

 

honda 919 is tite... nice bike.

 

just cuz it don't have fairings doesn't make it a bad bike..... the 919 is just a naked cbr900rr. definetely cheaper too. but of course, i love my gixxer

its called "Hornet 900" here in japan, and my friend has the 250cc version and i love how it sounds, and how it looks and all

 

To an extent it is a naked 900rr. The engine is the 919cc 96-99 cbr motor slightly detuned and added fuel injection if I am not mistaken. That is all it shares with the 900rr sadly.

Naked bikes are ok for insurance purposes, and are cheaper to fix when you wreck but just havent gotten my interest yet. I loved the half faired tls and sv650s those are some sexy looking bikes.

 

the cost advantages of these bikes are the only thing that's got me riding today.

 

You guyz should try riding it! it was soooo damn good.
I especially loved the seat, it felt very cushoiny.
the riding position was upstraight, awesome for daily driving.
also, the handling of this was pretty good.

 

I think it's sessy.
