so i took off the 3 screws on the door panel but i dont know how to remove the handle and i dont want to **** up the door panels.......the reason i ask is because i jus bought an eg but its rice as **** and i need to switch out the mirrors back to stock.....so help please!
the door handle cover slips off the handle. then pull up and out in one motion, so the door unseals from the window area and pulling out detaches the clips on the door. sorry to hear about your rice burner
the window crank is kinda tricky if youve never see the clip that holds it in. its sorta like a c clip if you push back on the door panel you should see it theres 2 ends you need to push them off with a small skinny flathead screwdriver.
you can go the lazy way with it and just pop the moulding off where you adjust your mirror after all screw are out and you haul your winder clip off just grad the panel from the bottom and yank it out

if you guys have some pics to help out with these that would help out alot(more of a visual type guy) oh and i would jus take off the molding where my mirror is and use a 8mm but i dont have an 8(ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hate my life without tools)
has anyone heard of a panel popper!!?? you can buy it at any local audio store. a couple of bucks is worth the investment, or u can use a flat head screwdrive u will see a U shaped pin between the handle and the door slowly pry it off and be careful sometimes they fly off when ur done get the same U shaped clip put it on the door handle and pop in the handle to the door and it snaps back in
Yeah it's not that hard to get the clip off. But, before dude does anymore work on his pride and joy; I would highly suggest investing in a set of tools. No 8 mm?
Plus, I would also use the factory service manual, especially for interior stuff like this. If you need the pdf just ask. Pannel poppers are also great tools to have too. Flathead screwdrivers are no match for the popper.

I totally agree with you Skeeza just threw in the flathead cause its an alter way of doing it if you dont want to spend the money. Personally i have like 4 diff types of poppers, they come in handy !
