I was thinking a astro van, But I might look for a more convential car that would be used as a dd and still rock the scales. All ready did a escalade and navigator. I'll see what pops up in the future.

i'm building a spl setup in my integra, but its gonna be removeable, starting on it soon, double din alpine hu, q logic kicks with mbquart 5.25 components, 6.5" components in doors and rear, 4ch amp - undetermined, doing the big 3, then a cactus pf600.1 and 2 re sx 12's or 15's for spl, and to sit in its place for daily set probably something simple like a 12w6 and a little mono amp.

 

i must be blind and deff cause i here no musice and no window flex? isnt that what this thread is about???

xci9v8icx-- yea i here ya on the 2 12s lol i have them on about 1000 watts and it shakes the car so bad lol...
the really sad thing is that car prolly never gets driven

I give you props for the system but sometimes there is such thing as too much and with that much system running most of the time you are going to be replacing a lot more than you though. Again, I'm not being negative just be careful and take all that to a sound comp and win something. Also, there are ways to port your car so you don't end up with all the pressure trying to escape out of place you need yo function.

 

well in a legal class, your vehicle must be completely sealed up, generally after 160dbs legal you start cracking glass.. thats why most spl cars have 2-3 inch thick plexi panels in place of the windshield.. only in outlaw classes can you fan your doors, open sunroofs and stuff

 

hmm.. yea thats steve meade in the driver seat, i have a car audio mag from back in the day with him in it featuring that car, i'm pretty sure its the same car, used to have 2 18" rockford fosgate hx2's in it and 2 bd1500.1's, did a 153 on the dash.. and yes, bump for re mt 18's, i used to have a 15 mt in my civic hatch.

 

but since its your car, and aparently you "know steve meade" since he is in the video and he has crap load of spl video's on youtube and he knows tons about spl comps, you should be asking him for tips on that windshield issue...
