Default Jun Cams Type 3

I wanted to know what your guys cam gears are set for jun type 3 cams and their set up and if what your power gains from the cams.

every engine is different

whats the max u can advance intake/exhuast cams without getting pition to valve contact issues

IN 1.5 degree advance or retard and the same goes for EX.

i know u might think its alittle extreme but i had mine at +4,-1 but thats just my motor i dont know bout yours. so head to the dyno and find out. good luck

every motor is diffrent, took three hours of dyno time to get mine fight, to each his own.

According to jun you can only move them plus or minus 1deg. Trust me I found out the hard way. I'm now on my 3rd motor. To be safe you can always clay your motor and see how far you can move your cam gears.

i got JUN 3 cams, no dyno #s yet, but i would guess that it also depends on if u have aftermarket pistons or stockers. i advanced my intake cam 1 full degree ( 2 degrees on the crank) and had no issues. every motor is different but i would assume someone like jeff (importreview) would have the best knowledge with different pistons because he prolly tunes more JUN powered cars than anyone.

mine are +4i, +2e
i make 209whp and have run a best of 13.2@104 in 95 degree weather.
