Hi,
I have a 96 Accord v6 (240K mi) that is leaking condensation/water on the driver side floor mats. I thinks its the evaporator leaking. Do the evap have its own fuse that maybe blown or is this sometime where the whole evap has to be replaced. p.s. the AC works but sometimes blow cold vapors say mt daughter.

Sounds like the evap drain hose is clogged. Sometimes debris collects on the inside pan of the evaporator and winds up at the drain hose. Pop a little bit of compressed air into the drain hose to see if it jars any debris loose.

 

Sound like a winner to me but question; where is the evap drain hose? Is it inside under the dash or else where? Thx!

 

its down by the front carpet on the passenger side of the console. you can get under the car and see it pointed down at the ground by the passenger floor/firewall area.

 

Great Advice, it worked. Actually, the hose itself was clear, I had to blow air into the evap using the drain hose and once I did water and debris came pouring out. You guys are great, thanks again.
