Icon2 JDM GSR CIVIC

right off the bat, IVE SEARCHED, i have a 98 civic with a 97 JDM GSR motor what my question is the teg motor is a lil heavier the the EX.. I need new shocks , so what i wanted to know is if i order the teg shocks will they fit... maybe my computer is special but again IVE SEARCHED..... thanks for any help

why would you order teg shocks to put in a civic? if your worried about the weight of it get stiffer springs....there is no way the EX weighs more or just as much as a JDM GSR...the JDM GSR came with LSD correct? no way the EX is heavier. Its a single cam up against a dual cam.

in short - NO the teg shocks will not fit...use a good suspension setup for a civic and youll be fine.

If you are worried about the front end dropping, get stiffer springs or coilovers. With coilovers you can adjust to the height desired.

i see... i had a EX and now have the GSR motor.. and every time i hit a small bump it sounds like a pot hole , so i know that i need shocks and wanted to know if i should get teg shock... from what u are sayin there the same and its all in the spring... what rate should i get and should i get ones for a teg thanks again
