just like the topic says, would this work? i know the si and hf tranny works, but i'm thinking of using the dx tranny on this motor until i can afford to get something better... of course i doubt it because i remember reading somewhere that i was not capatible with the d16z6 motor. its a 1989 crx dx by the way.

dont quote me on this, but i think that it will work, because it's just a d series swap, so i would think it bolts up, but if i'm wrong here's a free bump and someone please correct me

the si & dx has the same gear ratio from 1st thru 5th gear....here read this....go down to the part where it has "preparing your tranny & clutch"....hopefully answers your question.

i might be getting a d16y8 motor for $500... but this also includes the 98 ecu and 98 hydro tranny which i don't need so i might just sell that if i get the motor
