Default New color for Integra

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 95 LS 4 door, grey integra that seems to have a spec look of purple to it.
I stay in the houston area and a few shops i went to were charging like $3000. I dont want
to spend that much.

Does anyone know where i can get a good cheaper paintjob at?

I want to get it repainted another color, along with fixing the dents, scratches, etc.

What color should i get?
Could you also post pics so i can see as well?

I was thinking a dark blue but im open to all suggestions.

Thanks

i work at a body shop here in GA and for just the color change 3000 is a good price considering taking 4 doors off a trunk and hood is and doing the door jambs let alone fixing any dent or scratch at our shop dependin on the body work ut needed you would be looking around 4 g's just to change color inside and no body work and paint it,sand and buff it to good slick show car finish but what are you lookin for a OEM honda/acura color or any brand

People rarely want to pay the appropriate amount of money to get things painted/fixed. I don't necessarily think that 3000 is a good price, if a shop wants to be competitive, they might bid for your work to get you as a customer, but the refinishing market doesn't work like that too often. I would say something like 2000 is more appropriate, depending on how bad the body is.

If you want cheap, go to macco or earl scheib.

If you want good, go to a local bodyshop

If you want cheap and good, do the prep yourself, then take it to a shop to get painted.
