ok so here is my settup, b20b block bored to 85mm, 85mm rs type r style pistons, eagle h beams, B16 head milled .030, ctr cams, aebs intake mani, aem fpr, bolt ons ++++ anywho im running 440 cc injectors and need to know what fuel pressure to run and im also tuning with a wideband and a vafc2 with a chipped p28 and running 93 octane(yea i know the afc is junk but i already had it and my budget ran over for a few months and just want to get a base down so i can drive this untill i can afford Hondata) so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to put my afc settings at for a decent street tune so i can have some fun without detonation. also wondering if anyone has any idea what my compression ratio should be now, i was assuming around 12.5 :1 but really dont know... and lastly lol i have a friend that is doubting that i will make even 200 whp on this settup, let me know what you guys think, i am supplying a full mod list below.... thanks

any B20 vtec will hit more than 200 at the wheel easily
with ur 85mm setup, you will make more than 220 with CTR cams...depends on dyno..

but I would stay away from that high CR with 85mm STOCK Bore

With the proper tuning and a free flowing Intake+Exhaust you should be in the low 200 range, depending on how the dyno reads. I wouldn't get caught up in the numbers game, make sure you have a solid tune and enjoy the ride.

do you have the pistons and rods? because those pistons will not mate to your rods.. oem is press fit, aftermarket floating pin. you need to machine your pistons

 

yep, they will go on, but will beat themselves to death very shortly and have to come out, or come outon their own

ditch the vafc and just use the chipped ecu, thats a bandaid on top of a healed cut dude, tune on the the ecu and dont manipulate a perfectly good set of signals with an AFC

 

the rs machines pistons are made to fit aftermarket rods......and as i said before the afc tuning is a temporary fix until i can afford to get hondata and a tune.

 

FREEWARE...its free and just as good as the expensive stuff. Download crome,john cui made a great program.

 

i have chrome on my laptop, how do i hook up to my car to be able to tune?? do i need to connect to the obd port somehow?

ok so i been reading alot on crome and here is my question, does the datalogging cable i am gonna buy from xenocron come with datalogging software or is there any free datalogging software out there so i dont have to buy crome pro just to have logging?

 

The cable is just for the connection, You will need Crome Pro to data log with Crome.

As far as free stuff
Freelog used to work, but things change with revisions and I can't say for sure that it still would. There is a freelog forum on the pgmfi site.

You will need a few more things to chip your ECU, plus a romulator and chip burner. Don't forget the wide band.

 

i wouldn't run the vafc even for temporary use. if you can't afford a tune right away i would just let the car sit until it's ready. with that much compression you will need to adjust your ignition timing; the vafc can't do that. so if you're driving around with your new setup on the vafc, there's a good chance something might go wrong. although you might get away with the vafc if you run really high octane to avoid detonation. no offense but i'm a little confused on how you manage to do this all this stuff to your car but know little to nothing about tuning/chipping? but you got a nice setup coming along so goodluck.
