thanks guys and yes i try searching or else i wouldn't have made this thread. i thought the real deal was like 550. when i called rota online that's how much they said.
He meant real deal as in the cpr's. The rota track r's are replicas of those wheels. Real cpr's are crazily priced, but if I could I would get a set if I was ballin' like that.
Just in case you still haven't found the pics...
The wheels look pretty good, but if you do get them, make sure you get 16's. The wheels in the pics are 15x7 and they were just too small looking in person. My plan for the future was to get some white 16's and have them re-drummed to about 8" wide with about a 3" lip, maybe 16x8 25et. I think that would be nasty!!

There is no difference between name brand wheels and replicas other than the name on the wheels itself. They all comply to the same testing an laws that state they cannot be made if they do not go thru the rigurous tests to make sure that are in compliance with said proper wheel strenth or whatever it is u wanna call it.
The only difference is a name and usually about 1-2k!!
Oh yeah and the perk of saying your whip is mad jdm y0! Dont get me wrong i wouldnt mind having a set of some "real" (jdm) wheels myself. But the average person cannot justify spending $3-4k for a set of wheels!!

Forge- a furnace or a shop with its furnace where metal is heated and wrought
A workshop where wrought iron is produced or where iron is made malleable
Yeah i have heard of them. Your point?
I got my mudflaps off craigslist for $20 lol. I'm pretty sure handaaccessories.com has them though for like $50 brand new. In fact... http://www.handa-accessories.com/civicsi.html they're only $41

Cast- to give shape to (a substance) by pouring in liquid or plastic form into a mold and letting harden without pressure.

I'm not a Rota hater or anything, I actually have Track-R's on my DA, but please realize that a cast rim is not anyhwere close in terms of quality to a forged rim. So to say that other than the name there is no differnece between real and fake wheels is pretty far off. If I tracked my car and was concerned with having the best I would not of got a cast rim, but for most of us who daily drive our cars with a limited amount of track time a cast rim is just fine.
iv seen alot of "real wheels" that are cast, weird...
buddy club. altough same price as rota almost.
