So heres the beef on my car right now. I go to start up my car, and if i crank on it then it wont start. If i stay cranking and floor it then it will sputter, try to start and then give out. after two or three tries it wil start with a hard subie sounding misfire. it idles rough all day around 640-670 and does not stop. im going crazy but i have a feeling the injectors on cylinders 1 and 2 are bad. Motor is b20 with ls head. now the mods are I/H/E, new ECU, new spark plugs, wires, dizzy cap just went on. and dizzy off buddies car that works great on his. now dont start bashing me cause of this but i just installed cams two days ago (crower 402 cams) but it did this about 2 months before i put the cams and hasnt gone away. i have been told to change the injectors cause it doesnt smell rich and the plugs come out coated whitish with yellow flakes but have been told by others that its not bad. but i can guarantee you its not a rich running problem. also if anybody can tell me the recommended Fuel Pressure, spark plug gap, and valve adjustment using these cams is, i would also appreciate it. All insight is appreciated and all flaming will prove you need a life!
Im no expert but this is what I would try.
Try cleaning your throttle body with seafoam cleaner-uninstall, swab by hand and reinstall. You can also run seafoam through your gas tank to clean out clogged injectors...10x more legit than techron. Last but not least try replacing your idle air control valve. These are next to throttlebodies on most cars...not sure on Hondas. I don't have one...yet
This may or may not work but at this point its worth trying.
