Help on JDM B16A
I recently bought a b16a motor from a friend because he was selling it to me for cheap. I have a 94 GSR shell that i recently bought and i know i can swap this into my integra. What i want to know is the motor i bought is an OBD0 and my wire harness for the integra is OBD1. Do i need to get a GSR OBD1 wiring harness and put it on the motor, Or i can use any OBD1 wiring harness so it can plug into my OBD1 wire harness on the integra.
Easiest thing would be to grab an OBDI GSR/B16 Sol harness and make the necessary changes to upgrade the sensors on the motor to OBDI, then use the B16 Sol ECU
Do you have the engine harness that came in the car. If so you can use that. There will be a few extra wires but don't worry about them. If not try and find any obd1 harness out of a civic or integra. A vtec one would be a little easier, but its really easy to run the vtec wires. Then your gonna need a obd1 gsr or b16 dizzy. You will also need a b16 ecu or a chipped p28 out of a 92-95 civic ex/si.
