auto seatbelts suck
i have a 1990 integra. the driver shoulderbelt stopped sliding back one day out of the blue. If i force the belt backwards with the door closed as soon as i open the door it slides forward then not back again. Is there a way to disable the auto part so it will be stationary in the back position? why cant they just have manual belts :\

Why not manual belts? Because for a few years very retarded laws essentially prevented it. It was either attached to the door itself (which made the manufacturers use heavy stout doors to support it) or automatically position itself (which opening and closing the door with a door mounted belt did).
Take it to the dealer. Warranty for safety equipment is lifetime. I had both rails, sliders, electric motors, and belts replaced 2 years ago under warranty on my 91.
Not every honda dealership carries the parts needed, and since it is an older integra Acura may not have the parts either. They will need to order them in. You can essentially go to either one cause chances are they need to order them in
