b18b1 hatch swap not starting
i've seen a thousand posts just like this. sorry. i didn't find any helpfull info. so here goes. i just rebulit my ls in my ef hatch and got everyhting back in and now it won't start. everyhting is timed. when i go to turn it over it won't even crank, i put the battery from my integra in it so i know its got power. the thing is it ran before i pulled the engine. now its back in and won't even turn. is there anyone out there with knowledge on the subject or has experience with the same problem that would be helpful. i dont know much about wiring/sensors so maybe i overlooked a small detail cuz i've searched the whole bay for missed connections, and there is a couple but i can't locate the matching connector anywhere in range, any help is appreciated thank you. and sorry for the dumbass question
Are you getting power to all your accessories?
Random thought: I had a similar experience, and it turns out I missed a small connection on my starter. It wasn't a plug type connection, it was a single wire with a metal female clip/slide connector (no locking mechanism at all). I hope you know what I'm talking about. If you do, did you connect that?

ya i connected the starter wire, it is cranking now, but, it is not firing up. its not cranking fast either. it is makin a deep slow grinding kind of sound and the engine will ocassionally jump
sounds like the dizzy might need to be ajusted. just tilt it forward or backward until you find a position that will get it to start. thats what i had to do with my ls and my friends ls vtec
Deffanitly doesnt sound like the dizzy is off...meaby wrong fireing order....
To me it sounds like terrible power. Do you have a volt meter? if so, make sure you bat is good. And if it is then, I hate this one. It gets me everytime. CHECK GROUNDS! I had a motor that wasn't firing for months. Had fuel, and crank but no spark.
So once again, make sure all your conections are tite, even disconnect and re-connect. Double check all your fuses, and last but not least, check all your grounds. Make sure your battery terminals are clean and make sure your negative cable is connected to the body aswell.
