so i was searching around n such, couldnt really find much on this but does anyone know how to lock th vtec rocker arm in place so teh vtec lobes will be permenatly on

reason why is im wanting to test the piston to vavle clearnece for when vtec activates

 

couldnt you just wire the vtec selanoid direct to a battery?? something like that?
