Default How are dropzone coilovers?

How are dropzone coilovers? I have stock suspension on my 95 lx and was wondering if I should get these. Is there a difference between coupes, sedans and hatchies or do they all use the same one? How much is a good price for these? Will I need something else like new springs or struts to fit these? Any help would be great. As you can tell im a total noob at this stuff.

heres a pic of it

I heard they are crappy ebay coilovers. For the price very cheap and no you won't need aftermarket struts.

So I dont need to buy new springs either? Do you know how the ride is on these? I live in NYC and the roads are the worse. Do these lower my car or will it stay the same height? And is $50 a good deal?

Those coilovers are bouncy and same goes for their shocks. So, I got some Tokico shocks and Skunk2 coilovers, instead.

coilovers come with springs. The ride is going to be really bouncy like everyone says and yes, it will lower your car. All ebay coilovers are like 50 buck's.

Guess I'll just save up and buy something better. What's a good combo for a 95 lx auto sedan thats not too pricey? Will the rear suspension still work if I swap to rear discs?

yeah your suspension will still work. and avoid ebay coilovers at all costs! JNocon's setup sounds nice, it's a little more pricey but you will easily tell the difference.

Not really, if you're on a budget with the bad Economy nowadays. I got the Tokico's for $300 set NEW, and the Skunk2 coilovers $150 set at SuperAutobacs in 2008.

There are a bunch of springs on the market that will give you a drop in that range. Springs are fine to purchase used, shocks are hit or miss. I'd recommend saving up until you can find a decent set of shocks to pair with the springs.

Nice ride. But nyc roads are totally different from cali roads. Yours roads are nice and smooth while NYC roads are like hills and mountains.
