HOW CAN U TELL IF ITS A GSR TRANNY
i have a tranny and sumone told me it was a gsr tranny... but then i sold it to sumone and they called me bak saying it wasnt a gsr tranny????
uhh probably the only way is putting on the tranny and seeing the mph that i can think of

i think around 80mph in 5th it should be around 4 or 5k rpms?

You can check the sticker but they sometimes get swapped around to trick people. You can test it out on a drive or you can open the casing, count the gears teeth on each shaft and calculate the gear ratios and compare them to the b series tranny guide
Have you looked for the black stamp stating what transmission it is? Also what does the vin on the transmission say? If it has DC2 in it, then it has to be a c1 or c5. If you find dc4...then you got ripped off brother.
