Default Erratic temp gauge. Help. Video inside.

1999 Acura Integra GSR, 150k
Completely stock down to the airbox and factory exhaust.

Just bought the car and the temp gauge will shoot up randomly. It seems to be when i am making hard left turns or when I am on a steep incline. i know that sounds stupid but i have an associates in auto technology so i am not crazy, I reproduced the complaint a few times by making hard left turns at about 55mph, I really have no where to start with this thing .. just watch the video.

START IT AT 1:50. Unless you like Eminem you will waste your time watching before 1:50.

Any thoughts?

Mine does the same exact thing...

I brought it to acura and a few other places and they pretty much told me I was crazy.

Anyway, I have since changed the radiator, thermostat, and coolant.

I was told eventually told that it is probably the temperature sending unit.

Let me know if you decide to change that or anything else...

I have a 00 gsr, stock minus i/h/e.
