hey guys i have a 1990 crx si and i swapped in a b18a1...everything was plug in play car ran great for a couple of days then all a sudden it started dying out....thot it was either dizzy or fuel pump....put in a new dizzy then car starts up fine again but decided to change fuel pump anyways...so put in new fuel pump now car doesnt start again...cranks but wont start....i can hear the fuel pump working...car has spark....its shootin gas(not sure if its enuff).....need some help to figure out wats wrong...im replacing the fuel filter soon so we'll see if dats it....

 

check the timing, check the plug wires, recheck fuel pressure and spark...if the spark isnt strong enough, it wont start

 

its not the timing the motor use to run great....plug wires are good also put in new spark plug and new dizzy...not sure about fuel pressure

 

just put in brand new fuel filter car still doesnt start

 

main relay? are you hearing a hum from the fuel pump when you turn the car onto the "on" position?

 

Main relay is good....the thing is the car use to starts up and runs great untill I put in a new fuel pump but the thing is I hear the fuel pump running and it also shoots out gas....

 

does anyone thing its because of the vacuum hoses..??? cuz im not sure if i connected the hoses right...

Did you make sure to plug the new wires in the right order on the dizzy?

 

yea all of it is in order....about to recheck fuel pump see wat happens after dat
