90-91 ZC Headlights questions
Hello..
wondering if anyone of you have the 90-91 ZC headlights for your civic/crx.
if so, are you using the 90-91 jdm clear corners? how do they fit??
both my right and left side seems to not match perfectly to the lines of the headlight. They are both OEM parts.
just wondering if anyone has this problem.
TIA..

???? corners (usdm, jdm, edm, etc) fit all headlights 88-91. it's the corner to fender tabs that are different.
88-89 corners = screws
90-91 corners = plastic alignment tabs.

Don't laugh at my rainbow car, it's fully primered now...

IMO, the ONLY ZC headlights worth running are from Europe. They are better!!!
- made of glass, not crappy plastic that yellows
- can be had from a left hand drive car, beam aimed the right way
- they use an actual H4 bulb, not the gay h4h bulb like the Japan model
- can also be has with the powered height adjustable beam option too if interested
Any usdm style corner lens works fine

I just re read the title of this thread!!
The headlights everybody has been talking about are 88-89 style.
In both Japan and Europe, all 90-91 models came with SiR style front ends

Yeah, specific to 88-89 equivalent here. And I definitely agree that the euro version is better if you can get your hands on a set.
As for my bumper, to be honest I know there is a slight variation in contrast to the USDM bumper but if you really want to have a clean bumper just get a USDM one and see if you can get your hands on a lip. To me it's the same stuff but I do understand that JDM mentality, I just think the bumper in this particular set up is one that can slide and the car will still look good regardless of if it's an ACTUAL JDM Si bumper or a standard USDM 88-89 bumper.

Vega as in Vega Box? James? LOL I practically gave him my first one for free when I was trying to clean out my garage. The JDM one I have isn't perfect either so I'll be on the hunt for another one or I might just put my body kit back on.
I think it had one small hole in it near one of the bumper lights, could've been repaired maybe but I don't know. This was years ago though.
well i just saw 2 sets of zc headlights from the guy i purchased my jdm ef8 headlights and he wants $40/each same price i paid for the ef8 lights. if anyone is interested lmk i can be your middle man. they were pretty clean lights manual adjusting of course.
That's only true for Japan, Europe also had the non-SIR style front end. The sedans also had the ZC style headlights in 90-91 in Europe.
Ahhh you're right, I remember seeing a pic of what appeared to be a USDM style front 90-91 hatch but it had the single bulb headlights and the bumper had a notch all the way around the rub strip like the 88-89 bumpers and moldings. The guy was saying it was some euro spec version but I forget what specific country it came from.
Yeah, the lip just makes it different and the bumper support too. Jdm counter parts have a thin metal strip that supports it while we have a bulky heavy *** support.
The EDM 88/89 headlights are identical to the USDM ones, with the exception that the EDM ones don't have the weird adjuster nipples.
But they use the same dual output hi/low setup.
All the single bulb H4 model EDM headlights are 90/91 style per definition.
