I heard somewhere that the Type R has stiffer steering rack bushings than other Integras. Is this true? If so, would you guys recommend the stock ones over maybe urethane? I'm trying to avoid urethane due reports of it deforming relatively quickly (though this might only really apply to control arms). I'm putting an Integra (non-R) rack in my Civic, and want stiff bushings that will last.

 

Hard Race makes a steering rack kit which has all 5 bushings. They are hard rubber instead of urethane.

based on my experience, the itr does have stiffer rack bushings ( the 4 small conical ones ). i compared them to the ones from my civic, they're harder

 

Maybe I'll just get stock or fab up some solid metal ones. 50 bucks for that kit on ebay is pretty steep.
