My cousin is fixing to buy a 2 door GSR but he needs to be able to carry 3 people in the back in a pinch. Will the lowers from a 4-door work in a coupe? Will he have the ability to install the lap belt for the center?

About positive it won't work very well if you did try to put the bottom back there.

Why the hell would he want to carry three peeps in a two door? Why not get a four door GSR?? Eazy fixen.

 

He has an SUV for the family, this would be a second car and in a pinch he might need to carry 5. Not all the time, just in case. He's looking for 4 door GSRs in his price range but they are far and few and if he can make the back seat work he can expand his search to include 2-doors as well. He's looking at GSRs and EM1s. Really wants a b-series VTEC motor and something not modded.

No, they will not fit. Tell your cousin to not even try to carry 3 people in the back of a 2-door Integra, because there's only 2 seat belts. That's the reason for having that plastic tray in the middle of the 2-door rear seats - to keep from having to put a center seat belt in the car.

Carrying 3 people in the back of an Integra is just straight up stupidity on the part of the driver/owner.
